Non-Christian
Religions. This class is designed to acquaint
students with the idolatry and false religions of
Biblical times and with some of the modern religions
(including Buddhism, Hindu, and Islam) which reject
the New Testament salvation offered only in Christ.
Taught by Colly Caldwell.
Wednesday
at 7 p.m.
Joshua.
This class will examine the life and times of Israels
second great leader. It will challenge students with
the call for courage and faith contained in the Old
Testament book of Joshua. Taught by Ray Madrigal.
Sunday
at 9 a.m. and Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The
Gospel of Matthew. This class will examine
the life of Christ as recorded in the Gospel according
to Matthew. It will focus on Jesus as the promised
King and on the prophecies related to Him as recorded
in that narrative. Taught by Matt Qualls.
Classes
for Children
There
are Bible classes for children of all ages. These
classes follow a curriculum to take the students completely
through the Bible every three years. The Pre-K through
8th grade classes will continue the new three-year
curriculum Shaping Hearts for God.
The Spring theme is The Gospel is For All.
Lessons are taken from the book of Acts. Classes will
continue with the same study on both Sundays and Wednesdays.
Classes
for Young People
The
High School/College class will study Overview of
the Old Testament on both Sunday and Wednesday.
Topics will include a discussion of the theory of
evolution and other matters of interest. The class
will be taught by Robb Mitchell and Rick Tyler.
